Okay so now that I have a license as an esthetician this is where it starts. This is where the journey begins. The Skin Care industry has so many doors, tunnels, and highways. Basically the sky is the limit here. Whatever you set your heart and mind to you can accomplish.
This time 2 years ago I was 19 years old and had just gotten a job in an office atmosphere. This was an entry level job and I had no interest or desire to go back to college. I was in a very co-dependent relationship with my high school sweetheart where we were getting mixed up in things that only cause destruction. On top of all of this I was overweight and that problem was only getting worse.
Today at 21 years old I have a certificate of completion in Cosmetology, a diploma in both cosmetology and Aesthetics, a license from the state board as a practicing esthetician and a job in a salon. I am married to that same man, and we have turned our relationship back to God and it is now the most important relationship in my life and he is my biggest support system. With all of that I am also 40 pounds lighter.
I am not saying this to boast or to say "oooo look what I have done with my life." I understand that this is just the beignning and there is so much more to accomplish and that short list will only get longer. The reason I am sharing this is because I want people to see that you can accomplish ANYTHING you put your mind to, starting with the foundation of what you want to do. Just because you are young doesn't mean you cant have a list of accomplishments. Take a chance, take a leap out of your comfort zone. You will NOT regret it! :)
